Immigration Celebration

Supergirl's class had a immigration celebration this week. The kids in her class all studied a country of their ancestry. Supergirl, of course, did England which we all know is the coolest place to come from. She was the only kid in her class to do England which I found surprising. Most of the kids did Ireland and a few did Italy.

The kids (insert parents most likely the moms) made a food that is traditionally made in their family. We made "chessmen" which you can find under "not yo mama's banana pudding" on the PaulaDeen web site.




That's her giving her presentation. She was really excited that her Grandpa Ro came through Ellis Island as a baby. However that was not as cool as a friend of hers who's great something or other was a bank robber.

I feel it's important kids should know where they come from bank robber or no.
